What we collect

• When you claim a rank: your listing details (name, pitch, logo, link, category), your email address and phone number for the receipt, and the payment reference from our payment partner.
• When you browse: basic, privacy-friendly analytics such as pages viewed, clicks on listings, device type and approximate country. We do not use advertising trackers.
• We do not collect card numbers, UPI PINs or bank details. These are handled only by Razorpay.

Why we use it

• To publish your listing and rank, and to process and confirm your payment.
• To send receipts and tax invoices, and to answer your messages.
• To count clicks and visitors, prevent fraud and keep the board fair.
• To meet legal duties, such as GST and accounting records.

What is public

Your listing (name, pitch, logo, link, amounts paid and payment times) is public by design. Your email and phone are never shown publicly.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the Service for us: our payment partner, hosting and database provider, email provider and analytics provider, each bound to use the data only for us. Some providers may store data outside India with appropriate safeguards. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Listing and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (currently about 6–8 years). Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. Anything else is deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. Some records must be kept for tax law even after a request. Email [privacy email]; we respond within 30 days.

Children

Top Spot is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
